Our Chairman is an educator, author, and columnist for the Jamaica Observer.

She holds a PhD in Biotechnology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

Dr. Hylton has been in the field of education for over 24 years and is passionate about working with young people. 

She is the mother of two children and is devoted to the development and progress of our Jamaican youth. She was herself a patient of the Bustamante Hospital for Children and aims to enhance patient experience and outcomes, boost staff morale and improve infrastructure as needed.

Dr. Hylton was appointed Chairman of the Friends of the Bustamante Hospital for Children in April 2018.

Georgianna is the Assistant Manager of Alma Jones Medical Centre. She oversees day-to-day operations. Reid received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at University College of the Commonwealth and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, art, exploring the great outdoors, and eating all things curried

Lisanne is a second year Medical Student at the University of the West Indies, Mona and the youngest member of our team.She is involved in many outreach programmes and organizations and serves as Vice President of External Operations for the Jamaica Medical Student’s Association(JAMSA).She became involved in the Friends of BHC as she is particularly interested in children and their health care

Denese holds degrees in nursing and clinical technology, certificates in nursing administration,  midwifery,  clinical precepting and human resource management.

She is the Co chairman welfare committee Bustamante hospital and chairman of the membership committee. She is an executive member  of the nurses association of Jamaica.

Denese is also Consultant/  camp nurse at theChurch of God of prophecy, Jamaica and the Cayman islands.

She is the Nurse of the year 2018-2019.

She is a mother of three.

Siim is a creative professional with a passion for all things designed. She currently provides consultancy services in the areas of Architecture, Interior Design, Event architecture and Production Design with specific focus on brand-relevant experiential marketing. Siim has over 20 years of experience in small and medium scale construction and project management and a special interest in the film and television industry. Her personal journey has included extensive international travel, amateur photography, 3D CAD modeling, graphic design and several years as an independent fashion designer.

An Accountant and Administrator by profession.  Arlene is  a graduate of the University College of Commonwealth where she received a BSc. in Business Administration.

She works as a Finance Officer at one of our government agencies in Kingston.

Arlene is a member of the Jamaica Red Cross where her focus of assistance is in the “Care Committee” and “Emergency Disaster Committee”. 

Arlene strongly believes in helping others by way of giving and sharing.  She is a mother of one. 

Henry is a former administator at the Bustamante Hospital for Children. He is a long serving member of the FBHC.
